Privacy policy

CoPro16 ("we") is committed to protecting the privacy of those who visit its website and communicate with it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and what your rights are under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25.

Information we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide and the minimum technical data required for the site to function:

• Quote form: name, email address, building address, number of units, and any information you enter in the notes field.
• Communications: the content of emails or calls you send us.
• Browsing data: limited technical data (device type, pages viewed) if an analytics tool is enabled — see the cookies section.

We do not collect any sensitive information (social insurance number, financial data, health data) through this site.

Why we collect this information

• Respond to your quote requests and prepare an offer suited to your co-ownership.
• Communicate with you about our services and the progress of a mandate.
• Improve our site and understand how it is used.

Consent

By submitting the quote request form, you consent to our use of your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@copro16.com. Withdrawal of consent is not retroactive.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use service providers that process certain data on our behalf, strictly for the purposes above:

• Netlify (Netlify, Inc., United States) — website hosting and processing of the quote request form. The information you enter in that form (name, email, building address, number of units, notes) is received and stored there, then routed to our inbox.
• Plausible Analytics (European Union) — aggregate audience measurement, without cookies or individual identification. This tool is not currently enabled; this policy will be re-dated if it is.
• An email provider, to receive and retain our correspondence with you.

Some of these providers process or store data outside Québec, including in the United States. Before disclosing personal information outside Québec, we assess whether the provider affords adequate protection, taking into account the sensitivity of the information, the purpose of its use and the protection measures in place, in accordance with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to respond to your request, carry out a mandate, and meet our legal and tax obligations. When no longer needed, we destroy or anonymize it.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If a privacy-friendly analytics tool is enabled, it collects only aggregate statistics and does not identify individual visitors. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions provided by law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Have inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous information corrected;
• Withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your information;
• Request deletion of information that is no longer necessary.

To exercise these rights, write to us at info@copro16.com. We respond within 30 days. If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
